So I have not updated my confessionals in a while, but it's mainly because up until when Mars had to go to their first Tribal Council, things were pretty calm.
MARS has been on a winning streak. We won the first two Immunity Challenges, and subsequently Monica and Heidi were voted out. THEN in Round Three, both tribes were going to Tribal Council, so we competed for Individual Immunity. Sandra won for Venus (and Natalie ended up leaving), and I won Individual Immunity for Mars, HOLLAR! I didn't really need Immunity because I knew I was safe, but still, who doesn't like winning? This was Mars' first trip to Tribal, and for the most part everyone felt Brady was the vote because he's super duper inactive but then ... things took a very interesting turn.
I found myself as being the swing vote for the two different alliances in the game. There's the alliance of JT, Todd, Jeff and Brett, VS the alliance of Aras, Boston Rob, Brady, and Ozzy. I'm not sure if Jeff was in the alliance with JT or Aras, oops, but anyways ... originally I was allied with JT And The Gang (lol we sound like a band). I felt uneasy at first and felt like I was on the outs, but I have been reassured by JT enough times and have finally bonded with Brett and Todd. Then Oscar comes along and I realize we're playing in a different game together and he wants to work together (AFTER my alliance with JT+ was established), and a couple of days later I realize I know Boston Rob from another game too! And at this point it's like "Why couldn't you guys have told me you knew me BEFORE I made alliances with JT And The Gang? The alliance of Aras And The Gang wanted to blindside JT and wanted me to join them. I didn't want to do that to JT, but I didn't want to piss off my friends, so ... it was a very sticky situation! In the end I stuck with JT And The Gang and voted off Brady, and played dumb to the other alliance and was like "Oh I thought the plan to blindside JT was off because I read in a PM from Ozzy that we had to abort it.", which is like 90% true because there was a PM from Ozzy telling us to abort the plan but I guess it got sent out before I was in an Aim chat with Aras And The Gang discussing the blindside of JT and I just didn't look at the timestamp. Oops, lol. Ozzy and Boston Rob were equally upset with me, but ... hey, JT is my alliance, lol. I'm just doing what's best for me at the moment. I'm sorry that Ozzy and Boston Rob are in the predicament they're in and I'm going to try my best to keep them around for as long as I can, but I'm confident in my alliance with JT And The Gang.
And following that insane Tribal, Mars continued our streak and we won the fourth Immunity Challenge <3
We're at the Final 13 (assuming Venus finished their Tribal), very curious to know who they got rid of ... but now the girls are going to be down to 5 to our 8, so that's kind of awesome! I really hope we continue our winning streak, because I knw when we have to go to Tribal again I'm going to find myself in a similar position ... but like I said, I can't turn on JT And The Gang.
Anyways that's what's been going on the past week. Can't wait for the next Immunity Challenge, I want to kick ass again!
